The Ethiopian Grain Trade Enterprise (EGTE) has won platinum award for its great performance in exporting agricultural products during the 2012/2013 fiscal year. 

The award ceremony that was held at Sheraton Addis Hotel on 21st December, 2013 was organized by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.

At the ceremony‚ Ethiopian Grain Trade Enterprise’s Grain Purchase & Sell Core Process manager‚ Kelemework Mamo received the award from Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Board Director‚ Bereket Simon.

And to celebrate this, organization has organized a congratulatory program for the management, experts and professionals who have direct relation with the export trade.

During the occasion ‚the organization’s general manager‚ Birhane Hailu said that “the award is the result of the organization’s managements & workers who are working day and night to be effective in the export trade.; He also added that‚ even though the Enterprise had been awarded the same awards during the last four years ‚this one is the best since we have got the leading place in gaining the highest foreign currency in exporting agricultural products. Participants promised to keep up their performance and work hard for better progress.
