The CEO of the Corporation, Ato Mengistu Kebede received the award from His Excellency Ato Bereket Simon, PM’s Advisor for Policy Research with a rank of minister and Chairman of CBE Board of Directors.

H.E Ato Bereket Simon pointed out on the occasion that the export sector will continue to have a central role in the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP), which aims at transforming the country to a middle income status.

Ministers, high government officials, exporters and MTOs working with CBE and invited guests attended the event. Commercial Bank of Ethiopia organizes Exporters’ Day every year to recognize and encourage investors in the export sector and MTOs working with the Bank.
